Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Agronomist based in Kalamb Pune.

The Senior Agronomist will be responsible for advising and guiding sustainable agricultural practices, conducting research on soil and plant health, overseeing irrigation and nutrient management, and supporting farmers in implementing best practices to enhance crop yield and quality. The role will also include analyzing agricultural data, developing innovative farming techniques, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Soil Science and Agriculture, with expertise in evaluating soil health and fertility.
• Experience in Irrigation management and techniques, ensuring water-efficient solutions for farming practices.
• Proficiency in Research methodologies related to agriculture and the ability to analyze agricultural data effectively.
• Understanding of Plant Nutrition and the application of sustainable practices to enhance crop production.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work collaboratively with farmers and agricultural teams.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, Soil Science, or a related field.
• Experience in regenerative farming or sustainable agriculture practices is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide guidance and training effectively.
