Senior Agronomist

We are seeking an experienced and execution-focused Agronomist to lead end-to-end crop planning and on-ground management for our Open Field and NVPH (Naturally Ventilated Polyhouse) commercial farming operations. The role requires strong practical expertise, operational discipline, and a results-driven mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement end-to-end crop planning strategies for open-field and NVPH cultivation.

Manage complete crop lifecycle execution from soil preparation to harvest.

Design and monitor nutrient management schedules (macro & micronutrients).

Implement structured irrigation and fertigation planning.

Lead pest and disease management programs (preventive and corrective).

Monitor crop health and address chronic crop issues proactively.

Focus on yield optimization and productivity improvement.

Maintain detailed farm MIS, yield reports, and performance data.

Supervise field staff and ensure strict adherence to SOPs.

Ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality.

Required Skills & Expertise

Strong knowledge of open-field and NVPH crop systems.

Hands-on experience in commercial farming operations.

Expertise in integrated pest management (IPM).

Command over nutrient deficiency diagnosis and correction.

Ability to analyze yield data and implement improvement strategies.

Practical problem-solving ability on ground.

Strong leadership and team management capability.

Data-driven and disciplined approach toward farm management.

Preferred Qualifications

Degree/Diploma in Agriculture / Agronomy / Horticulture.

37+ years of experience in commercial crop production.

Experience in high-value or exotic crop cultivation preferred.
