Senior Accounts Manager Manufacturing experience

Company Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team at Mothers Medica Pvt Ltd/Formerly Mothers dental products Pvt Ltd, a leading dental manufacturing company. The Senior Accountant will oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, managing manufacturing costs, handling inventory accounting, supporting budgeting and forecasting efforts, managing import/export financial activities, taking responsibility for Tally billing and GST filing, and overseeing the banking loan process. The role will also include investor relations, ensuring transparency, and providing financial insights for strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in accounting, with a proven track record in manufacturing and a deep understanding of financial management, taxes, banking procedures, and import/export operations.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accounts Executive, located in Chennai. The Senior Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. The tasks will include maintaining general ledgers, preparing financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and conducting audits. This role also involves coordinating with internal departments for financial planning and implementing accounting systems and controls. The candidate will oversee accounts payable and receivable, manage payroll, and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Qualifications

• Financial Reporting, Financial Statements, Budgeting, and Forecasting skills
• Experience with General Ledger maintenance and Audit procedures
• Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll management skills
• Experience in implementing Accounting Systems and Controls
• Knowledge of Financial Regulations and Compliance standards
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
