The Role

We are a Hawaii-based bookkeeping firm seeking a meticulous Senior Accountant to take full ownership of 13 client portfolios. You aren't just "doing books"; you are the architect of financial clarity. You will be responsible for catching up on backlogged accounts, managing ongoing hygiene, and providing "error-free" reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Precision Bookkeeping: Manage all accounts within QuickBooks Online and Double (Keeper) with 100% accuracy.
• Audit & Correction: Identify, diagnose, and fix historical errors in messy books. We need someone who "sees" the story in the numbers.
• Workflow Management: Oversee the end-to-end accounting cycle for 13 clients, ensuring no deadline is missed.
• Hawaii Sync: Lead a daily "Live Hand-off" meeting from 2:00 PM 2:30 PM IST with the US-based CEO to align on priorities.

Required Qualifications:

• Management Experience: Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience, including leading teams or managing high-volume client portfolios.
• US GAAP Expert: Deep understanding of US accounting standards, tax categorization, and reconciliation.
• Tech Savvy: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and experience with modern app stacks (Keeper, Dext, etc.).
• Detail Obsessed: You catch the one-cent discrepancy that others miss.
