Senior Accountant

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our high-performance offshore team at Xshore. In this role, youll lead accounting operations, manage financial reporting cycles, and work closely with client finance leaders across the U.S. and Europe. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical accounting expertise whos ready to step into a global, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting including AP, AR, GL, and reconciliations
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP/IFRS and client policies
• Partner with CFOs, controllers, and auditors on reporting and reviews
• Mentor and guide junior accountants, driving performance and efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
• CPA/CA/CMA/ACCA qualification required
• 5-7 years of accounting experience, with at least 2+ years in a senior role
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP/IFRS and reporting standards
• Hands-on experience with accounting tools like QuickBooks, NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP
• Advanced MS Excel skills and strong analytical mindset
• Excellent communication and ability to work with international teams
