Senior Accountant – US Construction | Job Costing & Advisory

Introduction

Prosynergy is seeking to find a manager to source to a third partycloud-native accounting firm based in Pennsylvania, USA. We are looking for a Dedicated Senior Accountant (working through our partner agency) to join our team. We don't want a "data processor"we want a thinking partner who can manage the books, review junior work, and help us deliver financial clarity to our clients.

The Role: "Pod Senior"

You will work within a "Client Pod," supporting the US-based Account Manager. You will be the technical engine of the pod.

• Review & Quality Control: You won't just enter data; you will review the work of junior staff using our Double (Keeper) checklists to ensure accuracy.
• 
  
• Complex Accounting: Handle month-end closes, including Job Costing , Class Tracking, and complex Reconciliations for construction clients.
• 
  
• Tech Mastery: Manage the data flow between Dext (receipts) and QuickBooks Online , ensuring the General Ledger is audit-ready.
• 
  
• Process Improvement: Identify unclear transactions and communicate "Review Points" to the US team via our collaborative portal.

Requirements

• Software: Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks Online is mandatory. Experience with Dext and Double is a major plus.
• 
  
• Experience: 3+ years in US-based accounting. Experience with Construction/Job Costing is preferred.
• 
  
• Communication: Excellent written English for communicating queries in Google Chat and Double.
• 
  
• Detail Oriented: You love a clean balance sheet and hate "Uncategorized Assets."
