Job Summary

Paperchase Accountancy is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations for multiple clients. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in bookkeeping, compliance, financial reporting, and client handling within an accountancy or professional services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting for assigned clients, including bookkeeping and finalization of accounts
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances; ensure timely filings
• Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and control accounts
• Prepare and review MIS reports and financial analysis for clients
• Coordinate with internal teams and clients to resolve accounting queries
• Support audits and liaise with auditors when required
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Mentor and guide junior accountants, as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com); M.Com / CA-Inter preferred
• 47 years of relevant experience in an accountancy firm or professional services setup
• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and compliance
• Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar
• Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and ability to manage client relationships

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling multiple clients simultaneously
• Exposure to international accounting (UK / US) will be an added advantage
• Prior experience in mentoring or reviewing junior team members work
