This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant based in Ahmedabad. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing end-to-end financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Daily responsibilities include:

• Preparation and finalization of financial statements
• Managing GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances
• Conducting Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) regularly
• Overseeing budgeting and forecasting processes
• Managing accounts payable and receivable
• Vendor payments and artisan settlements
• Inventory accounting and stock reconciliation (very important for fashion business)
• Costing and margin analysis for collections
• Coordination with auditors and tax consultants
• Assisting in financial planning and MIS reporting for management
• Monitoring working capital and cash flow

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in retail, fashion, textile, or manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Expertise in GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance
• Experience in BRS (Bank Reconciliation Statements) and ledger scrutiny
• Hands-on experience in accounts payable, receivable, and bookkeeping
• Experience in inventory accounting and stock audits (important for fashion brands)
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally/Busy/Zoho/SAP or similar)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS reporting)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CA Inter / CA / CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred
• Prior experience in a Senior Accountant or similar role is highly valuable
