Senior Accountant – International Accounting & Operations (India)

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant, International Accounting & Operations to join Foundrys global accounting team. This hybrid role blends core accounting responsibilities with AR management, offering exposure across the full Order-to-Cash cycle.

Based in India, youll work closely with teams across North America, EMEA, and APAC, supporting month-end close, reconciliations, AR management, and financial reporting. This is an excellent opportunity to grow within a global environment and contribute to Foundrys ongoing ERP and process transformation journey.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Support accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities across multiple entities.
• Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for statutory and external audits.
• Manage day-to-day Accounts Receivable (AR) operations invoicing, collections, cash application, and customer reconciliations.
• Collaborate with global partners across Sales, Legal, Operations, and Finance to resolve billing or collection issues.
• Participate in system transformation initiatives (Dynamics 365, automation tools), assisting with testing, rollout, and continuous improvement.
• Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen controls, accuracy, and efficiency.

Education & Professional Certifications

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CA/ICWA (in progress or completed) or MBA preferred.

Candidate Profile

• 47 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including exposure to both accounting and AR management.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and familiarity with local statutory requirements.
• Solid understanding of the Order-to-Cash process and experience working with global or multi-entity organizations.
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably Dynamics 365) and finance automation tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and ownership.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across regions and time zones.
• Adaptable, accountable, and eager to grow within a fast-paced, global environment.
