About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to support our growing finance team. This role will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting audit and close processes in a fast-paced professional services environment.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily and monthly accounting activities to ensure accurate and timely close of books
- Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders
- Perform financial statement analysis and document explanations for variances and fluctuations
- Prepare and review balance sheet and bank reconciliations
- Assist in improving accounting processes to enhance efficiency and scalability
- Support the development and documentation of accounting policies and procedures in compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Assist with annual audits and quarterly reviews by preparing supporting documentation
- Monitor Accounts Receivable aging and proactively follow up with clients on payments and invoice discrepancies
- Audit and reconcile Accounts Payable invoices and migrate approved invoices into QuickBooks
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in general accounting, including AP, bank reconciliations, prepaid assets, accrued expenses, and monthly close
- Prior experience in a Professional Services, Consulting, or high-growth technology environment
- Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting and internal audit practices
- Proficient in NetSuite General Ledger and QuickBooks
- Experience with PSA tools such as Kimble or similar platforms
- Exposure to Salesforce-based systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proven ability to collaborate across teams and departments
- High personal integrity and strong work ethic
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
Required Skills
Proficient in NetSuite General Ledger and QuickBooks, strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with PSA tools such as Kimble or similar platforms, exposure to Salesforce-based systems.
