Senior Accountant - Healthcare

Senior Accountant Hospital Operations (Kochi)

Location: Kochi

Organization: V.G. Saraf Memorial Hospital

Experience Required: 610+ years (hospital/healthcare preferred)

We are looking for a hands-on, detail-obsessed Senior Accountant to strengthen financial controls and improve revenue visibility in a 60-bed NABH-accredited hospital in Kochi.

This is not a data-entry role. This is a control and systems role.

Your Mission

Ensure accurate, timely closure of monthly accounts

Tighten revenue cycle controls (IP/OP billing TPA collections)

Reduce receivable days and prevent revenue leakage

Maintain statutory compliance (GST, TDS, PF, ESI)

Support management with clean MIS and cost center reporting

Key Responsibilities

Oversee hospital accounting, ledgers, bank reconciliation

TPA & insurance reconciliation and ageing analysis

Monitor daily cash collections and deposit controls

Vendor payment verification and expense tracking

Doctor payout calculations and audit trails

Prepare monthly P&L and department-wise profitability reports

Coordinate with auditors and ensure compliance readiness

Assist during NABH financial documentation audits

What We Expect

CA Inter / M.Com

Experience in hospital ERP/accounting software (Tally, Marg, or hospital HIS)

Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, reconciliation models)

High integrity. Zero tolerance for shortcuts.

Ability to independently identify gaps and fix systems.
