Senior Accountant

Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant for there Global Accounting team. Reporting to the Senior Manager-Corporate Accounting, you will participate in the month-end close for global operations and will be a critical part of the Global Accounting team based in India to support accounting functions across Client's global operations.

You will be responsible for tasks such as reconciling accounts, preparing various journal entries and reports, researching variances, performing account analysis, maintaining accounting system data, and communicating with other teams. This individual is expected to generally work during UK hours (2 pm to 11 pm IST) and beyond that as needed.

Responsibilities:

• You will contribute to the month-end close process to prepare timely, accurate nancial data that is in compliance with US GAAP and client's accounting policies.
• Accurately performing global account reconciliations, summarize activity, and resolve reconciling dierences appropriately along with highlighting open and aged items.
• Perform accounting and control procedures related to a variety of areas, such as prepaid assets, accruals, cash, Fixed Assets and other areas, as necessary.
• Review nancial statement uctuations and prepare detailed supporting schedules.
• You will be preparing the requested audit documentation and analysis.
• Assist with the setup and integration of new entities within the client's environment, while managing and supporting day-to-day accounting operations.
• Assist in elding inquiries by researching and interpreting data, identifying risk and opportunities of the processes.
• Collaborate with dierent functional teams across the globe to standardize accounting processes/ policies and actively contribute to a disciplined nancial statement close.

Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant or MBA.
• Ideal background from SaaS industry
• You should have 3+ years of intermediate accounting experience, public accounting experience preferred
• Experience with accounting under U.S. GAAP is required
• Experience with internal controls and SOX compliance
• Highly procient analysing data in Microsoft Excel / PowerBI.
• Experience with NetSuite (preferred) or other large ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
• Hands on knowledge in using Floqast & Gappify and, or similar, and experience in driving process automation
