Senior Accountant- Based in Monali, India

Are you an experienced Senior Accountant with proven experience working for Australian companies? Our Australian Registered Training Organisation (RTO) is seeking a skilled finance professional to work at our onsite office in Monali, India. and lead our accounting operations.

About the Role:

As a Senior Accountant, you will take ownership of our financial management, reporting, and compliance processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to Australian standards while collaborating closely with our team in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
• Prepare and reconcile financial statements in line with Australian accounting standards/Balance Sheet
• Knowledge of GST/BAS reporting and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Supervise and support bookkeeping and accounts staff (if applicable)
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow
• Liaise with auditors, accountants, and Australian regulatory bodies
• Provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant working with Australian companies
• In-depth knowledge of Australian accounting standards, GST/BAS, payroll, and compliance
• Strong expertise in accounting software (Xero)
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to lead financial processes remotely and independently
