Senior Accountant - Corporate Reporting

RAIN is seeking an Senior Accountant- Corporate Reporting team to join its Global Shared Services Department.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparation of consolidated financial statements for the group periodically under Ind AS & USGAAP.

In this role, you will review of standalone entity financial statements periodically.

Role and Responsibilities

• Preparation of standalone financial statements for subsidiaries periodically under IndAS & USGAAP
• Assist in preparation of consolidated financial statement of the Group periodically
• Preparation of various schedules and associated workings for completion of standalone/consolidated financials
• Preparation of intercompany reconciliation/elimination files for upload in consolidation tool
• Assist in ensuring compliance with various external reporting obligations.
• Work with external/internal auditors to provide requested information and ensure smooth conclusion of audits

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Semi qualified chartered Accountant with 2- 3 Years of work experience.
• Qualified Cost Accountant with Relevant Experience
• MBA graduate with Relevant experience

Skills must for the Job

• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards (IndAS)
• Awareness on US Accounting standards (USGAAP)
• Work experience (pre/post qualification) with either any Big5 audit firms or in manufacturing industry
• Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office applications
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAP etc.)

Soft Skills

• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
• Strong organization and time management skills with ability to handle multiple assignments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant/Qualified Cost Accountant/ MBA Graduate
