Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for a Chief/Senior Account Manager. The person will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong books of accounts and financials of the company. The role includes managing key accounts, preparing reports, meeting revenue targets, and providing strategic input to help clients maximize value. Coordination with internal teams, understanding client needs, and identifying opportunities for growth will also be key responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Strong account management and client relationship skills, with a proven ability to meet revenue targets and foster long-term partnerships.
- Proficiency in strategic planning, problem-solving, and adaptability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the industrial piping and fire protection industry is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in CRM software and related tools, as well as strong organizational and project management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru with a collaborative mindset and a results-driven approach.
- Identify upsell and repeat business opportunities
Required skills
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in account management / sales coordination
- Prior experience in piping, construction, EPC, manufacturing, or infrastructure preferred
- Strong understanding of commercial terms, billing, and collections
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, ERP/CRM systems
- Client-facing, professional, and solution-oriented mindset
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Commerce, Engineering, or Business
- Experience dealing with industrial clients, contractors, or EPC firms
- Knowledge of GST, basic contracts, and project documentation
- Leadership experience or ability to mentor junior staff
