Senior Academic Counsellor

We are hiring a results-driven Education Counsellor Executive to join our on-ground team in Kolkata. This role is focused on student counselling, academic sales, and enrollment conversions for IIT JEE and JEE exam preparation programs.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in selling IIT JEE / JEE coaching programs, strong communication skills, and the ability to guide students and parents through the enrollment process with confidence and empathy.

This is a high-impact, revenue-focused role in a fast-growing education environment.

Key Responsibilities

Counsel students and parents for IIT JEE, JEE Main & Advanced preparation programs

Handle walk-ins, inbound leads, and outbound follow-ups

Convert counselling sessions into successful enrollments

Explain course structures, pricing, batches, and academic offerings clearly

Maintain daily calling, follow-up, and lead management activities

Achieve monthly and quarterly enrollment and revenue targets

Build strong relationships with students and parents

Maintain accurate records in CRM / lead management systems

Coordinate with academic and operations teams for smooth onboarding

Must-Have Requirements

Work From Office (Kolkata) Mandatory

Fluency in Bengali, Hindi, and English (verbal & conversational)

Strong sales mindset with ability to handle objections and close enrollments

Excellent interpersonal and counselling skills

Comfortable working with targets and performance metrics

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in IIT JEE / JEE coaching sales or education counselling

Experience in EdTech, coaching institutes, or test-prep organizations

Strong understanding of competitive exam ecosystem (IIT JEE, JEE Main, JEE Advanced)
