Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior ABAP Lead with strong hands-on experience in S/4HANA ABAP and SAP integrations. The role requires 75% core ABAP expertise and 25% SAP CPI/BTP Integration Suite exposure, along with team handling and technical leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of ABAP developers.
• Design and develop solutions using S/4HANA ABAP.
• Build and support integrations using OData, IDocs, SOAP APIs, and Proxy-based interfaces.
• Work on SDOC, API, and OData-based integrations.
• Implement and manage SAP S/4HANA Business Events.
• Collaborate with integration teams on SAP CPI / BTP Integration Suite.
• Support event-driven architecture and integration patterns.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and best practices.

Required Skills (Must Have 75%)

• 8+ years of strong experience in S/4HANA ABAP.
• Hands-on expertise in OData Services.
• Strong knowledge of IDocs, SOAP APIs, Proxy-based interfaces.
• Experience with SDOC, APIs, and OData concepts.
• Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA Business Events.
• Proven team handling / technical leadership experience.

Good to Have Skills (25%)

• Working experience with SAP CPI / SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• Knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture.
• Exposure to cloud-based integrations and messaging concepts.
