Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced ABAP Lead with strong expertise in ABAP on HANA, RAP Framework, and CDS Views. The role involves hands-on development, solution design, and leading a team of ABAP developers while working closely with functional consultants and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of ABAP developers, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
• Design and develop solutions using ABAP on HANA, RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model), and CDS Views.
• Architect scalable and performance-optimized data models using CDS (Basic, Composite, Consumption Views).
• Develop OData services using RAP (Managed & Unmanaged scenarios).
• Perform code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor team members.
• Collaborate with Functional Consultants, Architects, and Business Users to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Handle technical design documents, estimations, and effort planning.
• Support integration with SAP Fiori/UI5, SAP BTP, and external systems.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide long-term solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong hands-on expertise in ABAP on HANA.
• Solid experience with RAP Framework (Behavior Definitions, Services, OData exposure).
• Advanced knowledge of CDS Views (Associations, Annotations, Performance tuning).
• Experience in Team Handling / Technical Leadership.
• Good understanding of SAP Fiori and OData Services.
• Exposure to SAP BTP is a plus.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
