Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Semi Qualified Chartered Accountant, located in Chennai. The role involves managing and leading audit engagements, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The Manager will also oversee the work of junior staff, provide guidance and training, and liaise with clients to resolve audit-related queries and issues. Additional responsibilities include conducting financial analysis, identifying risk areas, and providing recommendations for process improvements.

Qualifications

• Semi-qualified CA preferred
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations
• Proficiency in audit and assurance processes, including risk assessment and internal control evaluation
• Experience in financial statement preparation and reporting
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members
• Ability to lead and manage a team, providing guidance and support as needed
• Proficiency in using accounting software and audit tools
