JOB POSITION

• Carelon Global Solution India is seeking Senior Software Engineer.
• Reporting to Team Lead, associate will be responsible for developing and maintaining our data infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, and supporting our data analytics initiatives.
• This role requires a deep understanding of Selenium-based test automation and QA best practices, along with the ability to mentor the team in day-to-day automation tasks and provide support as needed.
   

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Design, develop, and maintain UI automation framework using Selenium WebDriver
•  Create and maintain automated test scripts for smoke/regression/end-to-end coverage
•  Implement automation design patterns (e.g., Page Object Model, reusable libraries/utilities)

QUALIFICATION ​

Full time IT Engineering or equivalent degree (preferably in Computers )

EXPERIENCE ​
 

• 6+ years as Selenium, SQL, Java
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for Web UI automation.
   

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Strong knowledge of Selenium WebDriver for UI automation (locators, waits, actions, frames/windows, alerts, file upload/download).
• Solid understanding of test automation frameworks and patterns (Page Object Model, data-driven testing, reusable utilities, test layers).
• Strong knowledge of synchronization strategies: explicit waits, fluent waits, avoiding hard sleeps; handling dynamic web elements.
• Proficient in SQL for test data validation and backend verification (joins, aggregates, subqueries, views, data reconciliation).
• Knowledge of test data management: data setup/cleanup, using SQL scripts, maintaining stable test datasets.
• Effective communication with developers, QA, and business stakeholders; participate in reviews and planning.
• Ensure reliable assertions, correct data validations, and meaningful reporting.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java / Python / C# (specify preferred).
