Job Description

Role**Selenium Automation Developer

Required Technical Skill Set**Selenium WebDriver, Java/Python, TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, Git/GitHub, REST API Testing, BDD (Cucumber), CI/CD, Agile methodology

Desired Competencies (Technical / Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have** (Ideally should not be more than 35)

• - Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver with Java or Python
• - Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks (Hybrid/Keyword/Data-driven)
• - Proficiency in TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins
• - Hands-on experience with API testing (REST, Postman, or RestAssured)
• - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Good-to-Have

• - Exposure to BDD tools like Cucumber or SpecFlow
• - Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs)
• - Familiarity with Git-based version control and Agile methodology
• - Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter)

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

1 Design, develop, and maintain robust Selenium automation frameworks

2 Automate functional, regression, and smoke test suites to improve coverage

3 Collaborate with developers and QA teams to integrate automation in CI/CD pipelines

4 Analyze test failures, debug scripts, and provide quick resolutions

5 Prepare test documentation, maintain scripts, and ensure quality standards

TCS Eligibility Criteria: *BE/B.tech/MCA/M.Sc./MS with minimum 3 years of relevant IT-experience post

Qualification. *Only Full-Time courses would be considered.
