Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated Security Sales Specialist MSSP responsible for driving sales of Managed Security Services including SOC services, threat monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and other cybersecurity solutions.
The role requires a consultative sales approach to help organizations strengthen their security posture through outsourced security operations and managed security services.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for Managed Security Services (MSS) across enterprise and mid-market customers.
- Promote and sell services such as:
- Managed SOC (Security Operations Center)
- SIEM monitoring and management
- Managed Detection & Response (MDR)
- Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR/XDR)
- Vulnerability Management
- Incident Response Services
- Managed Firewall / Network Security
- Cloud Security Monitoring
- Engage with CISOs, CIOs, IT Heads, and Security Teams to understand their cybersecurity requirements.
- Conduct solution presentations, security assessments, and MSSP service demonstrations.
- Prepare proposals, RFP/RFI responses, pricing models, and service contracts.
- Collaborate with SOC teams, solution architects, and pre-sales engineers to design customized MSS offerings.
- Manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to deal closure.
- Maintain a strong pipeline and forecast revenue using CRM tools.
- Stay updated with evolving cyber threats, security technologies, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Business Administration.
- 410 years of experience in cybersecurity or managed services sales.
- Strong understanding of:
- SIEM platforms
- SOC operations
- Endpoint security
- Network security
- Cloud security
- Threat intelligence
- Experience selling subscription-based or managed services models.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
- Ability to translate technical cybersecurity solutions into business value.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with MSSPs, SOC providers, or cybersecurity service companies.
- Familiarity with security platforms such as:
- Splunk
- Microsoft Sentinel
- IBM QRadar
- CrowdStrike
- Palo Alto Networks
- Fortinet
- Cybersecurity certifications are a plus:
- CISSP
- CISM
- CEH
- Security+
