Job Title: Security Sales Specialist MSSP (Managed Security Services)

Location: Mumbai

Department: Cybersecurity Sales / Business Development

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated Security Sales Specialist MSSP responsible for driving sales of Managed Security Services including SOC services, threat monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and other cybersecurity solutions.

The role requires a consultative sales approach to help organizations strengthen their security posture through outsourced security operations and managed security services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for Managed Security Services (MSS) across enterprise and mid-market customers.
  • Promote and sell services such as:
  • Managed SOC (Security Operations Center)
  • SIEM monitoring and management
  • Managed Detection & Response (MDR)
  • Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR/XDR)
  • Vulnerability Management
  • Incident Response Services
  • Managed Firewall / Network Security
  • Cloud Security Monitoring
  • Engage with CISOs, CIOs, IT Heads, and Security Teams to understand their cybersecurity requirements.
  • Conduct solution presentations, security assessments, and MSSP service demonstrations.
  • Prepare proposals, RFP/RFI responses, pricing models, and service contracts.
  • Collaborate with SOC teams, solution architects, and pre-sales engineers to design customized MSS offerings.
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline and forecast revenue using CRM tools.
  • Stay updated with evolving cyber threats, security technologies, and regulatory compliance requirements.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Business Administration.
  • 410 years of experience in cybersecurity or managed services sales.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • SIEM platforms
  • SOC operations
  • Endpoint security
  • Network security
  • Cloud security
  • Threat intelligence
  • Experience selling subscription-based or managed services models.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
  • Ability to translate technical cybersecurity solutions into business value.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with MSSPs, SOC providers, or cybersecurity service companies.
  • Familiarity with security platforms such as:
  • Splunk
  • Microsoft Sentinel
  • IBM QRadar
  • CrowdStrike
  • Palo Alto Networks
  • Fortinet
  • Cybersecurity certifications are a plus:
  • CISSP
  • CISM
  • CEH
  • Security+
