Security Manager – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Role Overview

We are looking for a Security Manager to run the day-to-day security operations of our manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on, plant-floor role not a corporate position.

You will be responsible for gate control, guard supervision, material movement verification, CCTV monitoring, and overall facility security discipline. You will work closely with our Stores, Dispatch, HR, and Production teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Gate Control & Material Movement

• Supervise factory gate operations and control all entry and exit points
• Verify inward materials against purchase orders and delivery documents
• Ensure outward dispatches are matched against challans and invoices
• Prevent unauthorised material movement at all times

Guard Supervision

• Manage and deploy security guards across shifts
• Conduct daily briefings, attendance checks, and discipline reviews
• Ensure guards strictly follow entry and exit protocols

Visitor & Contractor Control

• Maintain accurate visitor entry and exit logs
• Issue visitor passes and manage contractor access to the facility

CCTV & Surveillance

• Monitor CCTV systems and flag incidents promptly
• Ensure surveillance equipment is functional at all times
• Maintain incident reports and escalate as required

Facility Security

• Conduct regular rounds of the plant and premises
• Monitor perimeter security and enforce after-hours discipline

Ideal candidates include:

• Former army or police personnel transitioning to industrial security
• Factory security supervisors ready to take on full facility responsibility
• Manufacturing plant security managers with hands-on operational experience
• Professionals with a background in warehouse or industrial security

Note: This is not a corporate or executive security role. We need someone who is comfortable on the plant floor, leading a team, and managing day-to-day security operations directly.

Experience

• 8+ years of experience in security operations
• Prior experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or warehousing environment is preferred

This is a fully on-site role. Remote or hybrid work is not applicable.
