ShareChat (Mohalla Tech Pvt Ltd) is Indias largest homegrown social media company and the only local player to achieve profitability in the industry, with 200+ million Monthly Monetizable Users across all its platforms.

Founded in 2015, ShareChat has social media brands such as the ShareChat App and Moj App and micro drama app QuickTV under its portfolio. What Youll Do

Product & Application Security

Perform deep security assessments of :

• Mobile apps-Android/iOS
• Web applications and APIs
• Backend micro services

Identify complex vulnerabilities including:

• business logic flaws
• auth bypass
• IDORs
• abuse & automation risks

Conduct advanced penetration testing and vulnerability research

Build Security as a Platform

Design and implement internal platforms for:

• automated pen testing & scanning
• secure-by-default service templates
• secrets and key management
• policy enforcement in CI/CD & infra

Eliminate repetitive manual security tasks through tooling

Cloud, Infra & WAF Security

Architect security across:

• Kubernetes & micro services
• IAM & workload identity
• Envoy/API gateways & WAFs

Build protections against:

• OWASP API threats
• bot abuse & scrapingSenior Platform Security Engineer2
• DDoS and traffic anomalies

Threat Modeling & Secure Design

• Lead threat modeling for major product launches and platform components
• Influence architecture to reduce systemic risk
• Design resilient security controls from day one

Secure Code & Engineering Partnership

• Perform deep security-focused code reviews
• Work directly with engineers to build secure systems
• Define secure coding standards and reusable libraries

Who are you?

5+ years in Product Security, Security Engineering, or Platform Security

Strong offensive security background (pen testing, bug hunting, vulnerability research)

Deep expertise across: Mobile, web, and API security OWASP Top 10 & logic flaws Threat modeling & secure design

Solid engineering skills in at least one backend language (Go, Python, Java, Node.js)

Strong knowledge of: cloud security (GCP/AWS/OCI) Kubernetes & micro services security

Experience building security automation platforms or internal tools Experience with:

WAF tuning & abuse prevention

Service mesh / API gateway security

Infrastructure-as-code security Background in high-scale consumer platforms

Bug bounty or red team experience
