Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Security Domain Architect with deep expertise in Cisco security technologies to join our Product & CX Engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience in enterprise network security architecture, product testing, and troubleshooting complex security environments. This role requires strong technical leadership, autonomy, and the ability to collaborate across internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Cisco security products including FTD, FDM, and ASA platforms.
• Lead security testing initiatives within Product & CX Engineering.
• Design, validate, and troubleshoot enterprise-level network security architectures.
• Perform Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocol testing within secure enterprise environments.
• Configure and manage Firewalls, VPNs, ACLs, NAT (ipNAT), and Identity Services.
• Drive threat prevention strategies and incident handling across enterprise networks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and customer experience teams.
• Contribute to automation and validation activities using Python (secondary skill).
• Ensure high-quality standards in security testing and validation processes.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong expertise in Security Testing FDM / Cisco (Product & CX Engineering)
• Hands-on experience with Cisco FTD, FDM, and ASA devices
• Deep knowledge of:
• Enterprise firewall technologies
• VPN configuration and troubleshooting
• ACL implementation
• NAT (ipNAT)
• Identity Services
• Strong understanding of Layer 2 & Layer 3 protocols and protocol-level testing
• Experience in enterprise network troubleshooting and incident handling
• Security and Product Management Engineering experience

Secondary / Preferred Skills

• Python scripting (development or automation exposure)
• Experience in product validation environments
• Exposure to automation frameworks for security testing

Certifications (Preferred)

• CCNP Security (mandatory preference)
• Higher Cisco Security certifications (added advantage)
