Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Servicenow Secops AlertLogic SIEM Arcsight and Azure Sentinel. This hybrid role involves rotational shifts and does not require travel. The Security Engineer will play a critical role in safeguarding our companys digital assets and ensuring compliance with security policies.
Responsibilities
Implement and manage security solutions using Servicenow Secops to ensure the protection of company assets.Monitor and analyze security events using AlertLogic SIEM to detect and respond to potential threats.Utilize Arcsight for comprehensive security information and event management to maintain a secure environment.Leverage Azure Sentinel to provide advanced threat detection and response capabilities.Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate risks.Develop and maintain security policies procedures and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement security controls and best practices.Provide incident response and forensic analysis in the event of security breaches or incidents.Oversee the configuration and maintenance of security tools and technologies to ensure optimal performance.Conduct security training and awareness programs for employees to promote a culture of security.Stay updated with the latest security trends threats and technologies to continuously improve the security posture.Participate in security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and other departments as needed.
Qualifications
Possess a strong understanding of Servicenow Secops and its application in security operations.Demonstrate expertise in using AlertLogic SIEM for threat detection and response.Have hands-on experience with Arcsight for security information and event management.Show proficiency in leveraging Azure Sentinel for advanced threat detection.Exhibit knowledge of security best practices and industry standards.Hold relevant certifications such as CISSP CISM or CEH.Display excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Work effectively in a hybrid work model with rotational shifts.Demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks.Show commitment to continuous learning and professional development.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve security objectives.
Certifications Required
CISSP CISM CEH or equivalent certifications relevant to security engineering.
