Summary: As a Security Engineer, you will apply security skills to design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. You will provide services to safeguard information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats. Your typical day will involve utilizing your expertise in Checkpoint Next Generation Firewall to ensure the security of the organization's systems and data. You will collaborate with various teams and contribute to key decisions, providing solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME in Checkpoint Next Generation Firewall - Collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively - Responsible for team decisions and ensuring adherence to security protocols - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams - Ensure the security of enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people - Design and implement security measures to protect against cyber threats - Monitor and analyze security incidents, identifying vulnerabilities and implementing appropriate solutions Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Checkpoint Next Generation Firewall - Experience with network security protocols and technologies - Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices - Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards - Hands-on experience in implementing and managing security solutions - Good To Have Skills: Experience with other firewall technologies such as Palo Alto Networks or Cisco ASA - Familiarity with intrusion detection and prevention systems - Experience in conducting security assessments and audits Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in Checkpoint Next Generation Firewall - This position is based at our Pune office - A 15 years full time education is required Additional Skills - Fortinet Firewall, ZPA/ZIA, Netscaler
