Summary: As a Security Engineer, you will apply security skills to design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. You will provide services to safeguard information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats. Your typical day will involve utilizing your expertise in security to ensure the safety and integrity of our systems and data, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks, and implementing security measures to protect against cyber threats. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential security risks. - Implement security measures to protect against cyber threats. - Conduct security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards. - Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines. - Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies. - Assist in incident response and recovery efforts. - Provide security training and awareness programs to educate employees on best practices. - Assist in the design and implementation of security controls and technologies. - Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. - Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to identify and respond to potential security incidents. - Collaborate with external vendors and partners to enhance security capabilities. - Contribute to the development and improvement of security processes and procedures. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Google Cloud Key Management. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Python (Programming Language), Google BigQuery, Google Looker Data Platform. - Strong understanding of security principles and best practices. - Experience with security technologies and tools. - Knowledge of network security protocols and technologies. - Familiarity with cloud security concepts and technologies. - Understanding of encryption algorithms and cryptographic protocols. - Experience with security incident response and forensic investigations. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Google Cloud Key Management. - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
