Summary: As a Security Engineer, you will apply security skills to design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. You will provide services to safeguard information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats. Your typical day will involve utilizing your expertise in Apache Kafka to ensure the security of various systems and assets, collaborating with cross-functional teams to make informed decisions, and providing solutions to security problems. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Ensure the security of enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. - Design and build secure systems and infrastructures. - Protect information, applications, and business processes against cyber threats. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to make informed decisions. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Apache Kafka. - Strong understanding of security principles and best practices. - Experience in implementing security measures for enterprise systems and applications. - Knowledge of network security protocols and technologies. - Familiarity with security assessment tools and techniques. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Apache Kafka. - This position is based at our Mumbai office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
