Summary: As a Security Engineer, you will apply security skills to design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. You will provide services to safeguard information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats. Your typical day will involve utilizing your expertise in Static Application Security Testing (SAST) to identify vulnerabilities and ensure the security of our systems and applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security measures and provide recommendations for improving security practices. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Identify vulnerabilities in systems and applications through Static Application Security Testing (SAST). - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security measures. - Provide recommendations for improving security practices. - Stay updated with the latest security threats and industry best practices. - Assist in incident response and investigation of security incidents. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Static Application Security Testing (SAST). - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Python (Programming Language), AWS Administration, Google Cloud Key Management. - Strong understanding of security principles and best practices. - Knowledge of secure coding practices and vulnerability remediation. - Familiarity with security tools and technologies such as vulnerability scanners and penetration testing tools. - Experience in conducting security assessments and audits. - Ability to analyze and interpret security logs and reports. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Static Application Security Testing (SAST). - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A BE Btech is required.
