Summary: As a Security Engineer, you will apply security skills to design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. You will provide services to safeguard information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats. Your typical day will involve utilizing your expertise in Managed Cloud Security Services to ensure the security of various systems and assets, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security solutions, and staying updated with the latest security trends and technologies to mitigate potential risks and vulnerabilities. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security solutions. - Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies to mitigate potential risks and vulnerabilities. - Utilize expertise in Managed Cloud Security Services to ensure the security of various systems and assets. - Perform security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures. - Monitor and analyze security logs and events to detect and respond to security incidents. - Assist in incident response activities, including containment, investigation, and recovery. - Conduct security awareness training and provide guidance to employees on security best practices. - Participate in the development and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and standards. - Collaborate with external vendors and partners to enhance security capabilities. - Assist in the evaluation and selection of security technologies and tools. - Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of security processes and practices. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Managed Cloud Security Services. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Microsoft Azure Security, Microsoft Azure Sentinel. - Strong understanding of security principles, concepts, and best practices. - Knowledge of network security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs. - Experience with security incident response and forensic investigation. - Familiarity with security frameworks and standards, such as ISO 27001 and NIST. - Understanding of cloud security architecture and controls. - Knowledge of identity and access management principles and technologies. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Managed Cloud Security Services. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience is required.
