Summary: As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for applying your network security operations skills to design, build, and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. Your typical day will involve safeguarding information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats using your expertise in network security operations. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and maintain network security infrastructure to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets. - Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. - Monitor and analyze network traffic to detect and respond to security incidents, including malware infections, unauthorized access attempts, and data exfiltration. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks, including conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. - Provide technical guidance and support to other teams, including network operations, application development, and IT support, to ensure the security of enterprise systems and data. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Expertise in network security operations. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDPS), and firewalls. - Strong understanding of security principles, standards, and best practices, including ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS. - Experience with security assessment and testing tools, including vulnerability scanners and penetration testing frameworks. - Knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and routing and switching. - Familiarity with cloud security concepts and technologies, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in network security operations. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCNP Security. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
