Educational Qualification : Bachelors Degree in computer science prior experience in information security or SOC operations

Summary: As a Security Engineer, you will apply security skills to design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. You will provide services to safeguard information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats. Your typical day will involve utilizing your expertise in security engineering to ensure the security of our organization's systems and data. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Design and implement security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data. - Monitor and analyze security incidents and vulnerabilities, and develop strategies to mitigate risks. - Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend solutions. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the implementation of security best practices. - Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and threats. - Assist in incident response and recovery efforts. - Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation. - Provide guidance and support to junior security professionals. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Accenture MxDR Ops Security Engineering. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) Operations. - Strong understanding of security principles, protocols, and technologies. - Experience with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software. - Knowledge of network security architecture and protocols. - Familiarity with security frameworks and standards, such as ISO 27001 and NIST. - Ability to conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Accenture MxDR Ops Security Engineering. - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A Bachelor's Degree in computer science or prior experience in information security or SOC operations is required.
