Summary: As a Security Engineer, you will apply security skills to design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. You will provide services to safeguard information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats. Your typical day will involve utilizing your expertise in Okta Identity Management to ensure the security of our organization's systems and data. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security measures and mitigate risks. Additionally, you will stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies to enhance our security posture. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security measures and best practices. - Assess and analyze security risks and vulnerabilities in systems and applications. - Design and implement security controls and measures to protect against cyber threats. - Monitor and investigate security incidents, and respond to security breaches. - Conduct security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. - Stay updated on the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices. - Provide guidance and support to junior security professionals. - Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Okta Identity Management. - Strong understanding of security principles, concepts, and best practices. - Experience in implementing and managing security controls and measures. - Knowledge of network security protocols and technologies. - Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST. - Experience in conducting security assessments and audits. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with cloud security platforms such as AWS or Azure. - Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) concepts and technologies. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Okta Identity Management. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
