Summary: As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for applying security skills to design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. Your typical day will involve monitoring security operations and safeguarding information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats. Roles & Responsibilities: - Monitor security operations and investigate security incidents to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities. - Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement security solutions that meet business requirements and comply with regulatory standards. - Conduct security assessments and audits to identify security gaps and recommend remediation actions. - Stay updated with the latest security trends, technologies, and threats to ensure the effectiveness of security controls and processes. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Experience in Security Operations Monitoring. - Good To Have Skills: Knowledge of security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems. - Strong understanding of security principles, standards, and best practices. - Experience in conducting security assessments and audits. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Security Operations Monitoring. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
