Summary: As a Security Engineer, you will apply security skills to design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. You will provide services to safeguard information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats. Your typical day will involve utilizing your expertise in security penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities, conduct assessments, and recommend security measures to enhance the overall security posture of the organization. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Conduct security penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities in systems, applications, and networks. - Perform security assessments and audits to evaluate the effectiveness of existing security controls. - Develop and implement security measures and countermeasures to mitigate identified risks. - Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices. - Assist in incident response activities and conduct forensic investigations when necessary. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Security Penetration Testing. - Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and web application security. - Experience with security assessment tools such as Nessus, Burp Suite, and Metasploit. - Knowledge of common security frameworks and standards such as OWASP, NIST, and ISO 27001. - Familiarity with cloud security concepts and technologies. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with security incident response and threat intelligence analysis. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Security Penetration Testing. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A Graduate degree is required.
