Summary: As a Security Engineer, you will apply security skills to design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. You will provide services to safeguard information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats. Your typical day will involve utilizing your expertise in web application security testing to identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and implement effective security measures. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Conduct web application security testing to identify vulnerabilities and assess risks. - Develop and implement effective security measures to protect enterprise systems, applications, and data. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security requirements are met throughout the development lifecycle. - Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and best practices. - Provide guidance and support to junior security professionals in the team. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Web Application Security Testing. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), Static Application Security Testing (SAST). - Strong understanding of web application security principles and best practices. - Knowledge of common web application vulnerabilities and attack vectors. - Experience with security testing tools such as Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, or Nessus. - Familiarity with secure coding practices and security frameworks. - Ability to analyze and interpret security assessment results. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Web Application Security Testing. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
