Summary: As a Security Engineer, you will apply security skills to design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. You will provide services to safeguard information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats. Your typical day will involve utilizing your expertise in Splunk Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) to ensure the security of our organization's systems and data. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks, implement security measures, and respond to security incidents. Your role will play a crucial part in maintaining the security posture of our organization. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks. - Implement security measures to protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. - Utilize Splunk Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) to monitor and analyze security events. - Investigate and respond to security incidents, including conducting forensic analysis and implementing remediation measures. - Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards. - Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and best practices. - Assist in the development and implementation of security awareness and training programs. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Splunk Security Information and Event Management (SIEM). - Strong understanding of security principles, concepts, and best practices. - Experience with security technologies and tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners. - Knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP, and network security. - Familiarity with security frameworks and standards, such as ISO 27001 and NIST Cybersecurity Framework. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Splunk Security Information and Event Management (SIEM). - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
