Summary: As an Application Security Manager, you will be responsible for applying security skills to Consult, design, build application security programs and ensure running the program meeting the set guidelines and metrics. The role involves protecting enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. Your typical day will involve working with the project stakeholders in running the application security program by managing it efficiently and provide security architect level consultation in application security testing and vulnerability management for platinum clients and internal systems. Roles & Responsibilities: - Provide consultation in designing and implementing an efficient application security framework to customers, Managing security testing and vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses in applications and systems. Develop, implement and consult on security controls to mitigate identified vulnerabilities. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are implemented throughout the enterprise. - Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities, and implement appropriate security measures to protect enterprise systems. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Good knowledge in Application security Principles, Risk concepts, Process and best practices, including Secure SDLC, Shift Left, Security Automation and DevSecOps. Strong experience in Security Architecture reviews, security testing - SAST, DAST, SCA, Secure SDLC. Good To Have Skills: Experience one or more security tools such as Fortify, HCL Appscan, Checkmarx, Veracode, Threat Modeller, Snyk etc. - Solid understanding of security best practices and industry standards such as OWASP, NIST, OSSTMM. Hands on experience in DevSecOps and security automation, remediation management. - Knowledge and awareness in with security areas such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 12+ years of experience in Application Security Management and consultation. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, information security, or a related field, along with relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or OSCP.
