Role Overview


BTG Advaya is seeking an organised and proactive Secretary to provide administrative and operational support to partners and senior lawyers. The role requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced professional environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage partner calendars, scheduling meetings, calls, and travel arrangements.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, including preparation of agendas and logistics.
  • Handle correspondence, email management, and document organisation.
  • Assist with preparation and formatting of legal documents, presentations, and client communications.
  • Maintain records of meetings, deadlines, and key deliverables for partners.
  • Coordinate with internal teams regarding billing, client onboarding, and administrative processes.
  • Support day-to-day office operations and ensure smooth functioning of partner workflows.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professional standards in all client-related communications.


Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification.
  • 5+ years of experience as a legal secretary, executive assistant, or administrative professional in a law firm or professional services organisation.


Skills & Attributes

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
