Secondary English Teacher

Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and responsible English Teacher to teach up to secondary section. The teacher should have strong subject knowledge, good communication skills, and a genuine interest in helping students learn and improve their reading, writing, grammar, and speaking skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Classroom Teaching
• Teach English language and literature up to secondary section.
• Prepare lesson plans, classwork, homework, and assessments.
• Explain grammar, comprehension, writing skills, and literature chapters in a clear and engaging way.
• Use simple and effective teaching methods suitable for mixed-ability classrooms.

Student Development

• Maintain discipline, a positive learning environment, and good classroom management.
• Assessment & Records
• Conduct periodic tests, maintain performance records, and prepare report cards.
• Evaluate notebooks and assignments regularly with constructive feedback.

School Responsibilities

• Participate in school events, assemblies, competitions, and PTMs.
• Work closely with other teachers to coordinate academic activities.
• Follow school policies, timetable, and responsibilities assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in English / B.A. with English + B.Ed. (preferred).
• 5+ years of teaching experience.
• Good command over English grammar and communication.
• Basic computer skills for maintaining records.
