About the Role

You will lead and manage end-to-end client SEO strategy, tasks and execution. You will lead a team of 6 folks across technical, editorial, off-page, and on-page members to service your clients. You will drive client success, provide feedback on our tooling, and assist in product development.

Responsibilities

Creating SEO Strategy

• Support the development of SEO strategies aligned with client objectives
• This includes keyword research, competitive research, technical audits, and ongoing on-page and off-page optimizations

Executing SEO Strategy

• Manage team and ensure SEO Strategies are executed properly

Client Consultation (Client facing)

• Create bi-weekly client reports
• Lead client meetings on relevant deliverables in a way that demonstrates value and ties back to program objectives
• Maintain a deep understanding of the client's product, personal pain points, and goals as they apply to a program or specific deliverables
• Ensure client satisfaction by monitoring and addressing risk points, and flagging issues to the internal team

Team Consultation (Internal facing)

• Collaborate with the team on deliverables, brainstorms, and problem-solving
• Active engagement in the SEO and Search community; keep current on trends and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Fluent in the English language, and the ability to communicate effectively
• Able to communicate both verbally and in writing regarding SEO, marketing strategies, and tactical recommendations
• 5+ years of experience working in an SEO or Digital Marketing role
• Familiarity with SEO tools, such as Google Analytics, Semrush, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree or higher in Marketing, Communications or Computer Science/IT (or years of experience in commensurate).
• Agency experience is also preferred to manage the multiple priorities of a variety of clients
