Job Summary

Were looking for an experienced SEO Executive with strong hands-on expertise in Technical SEO , modern GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) , and AI Search optimization . The ideal candidate understands how search is evolving (Google SGE / AI Overviews, Bing/Copilot-style results, LLM-driven discovery) and can implement strategies to improve visibility across both traditional SERPs and AI-powered search experiences.

Key Responsibilities

1) Technical SEO (Core Focus)

• Conduct technical audits (crawlability, indexation, logs basics, Core Web Vitals, structured data, canonicalization, redirects, pagination, duplicate content).
• Identify and fix technical issues: crawl errors, broken links, thin pages, site speed, mobile usability, internal linking, URL structure.
• Ensure strong site architecture , clean navigation, and scalable SEO-friendly templates (especially for large sites / eCommerce).
• Implement and validate schema markup (FAQ, Organization, Product, Local Business, Article, Breadcrumb, etc.).
• Support migration SEO (domain changes, HTTPS, redesigns) with proper planning and QA.

2) On-Page SEO & Content Optimization

• Perform keyword research, clustering, intent mapping, and content gap analysis.
• Optimize meta titles, descriptions, headers, images (alt text), internal links, and content structure.
• Create/guide SEO content briefs aligned with ranking + conversion goals.
• Improve E-E-A-T signals through authoring structure, credibility elements, and content quality upgrades.

3) Off-Page SEO (Quality-First)

• Plan and execute ethical link-building strategies (digital PR, outreach support, citations for local SEO, brand mentions).
• Monitor backlinks, evaluate link quality, and support link cleanup when required.

4) GEO / AI SEO (Generative Search Optimization)

• Optimize content to be AI-answer friendly : clear entities, structured sections, FAQs, comparisons, definitions, how-to formats, and strong topical coverage.
• Strengthen brand/entity signals across the web (consistent NAP, profiles, citations, trusted sources).
• Collaborate on building content that improves inclusion in AI summaries and assistant recommendations (helpful, factual, well-structured content).

5) Reporting, Tools & Performance Tracking

• Track performance using Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, and SEO tools (Ahrefs/Semrush/Ubersuggest/Screaming Frog or similar).
• Monitor rankings, traffic, index coverage, CTR, conversions; share actionable insights and improvement plans.
• Conduct competitor analysis and recommend strategy enhancements.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, ranking systems, and best practices.
• Solid knowledge of HTML/CSS basics , CMS structures, and website architecture.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving mindset, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver work on timelines.
• Excellent English communication (verbal + written).

Good to Have (Added Advantage)

• Working knowledge of Local SEO (GMB optimization, citations, local landing pages).
• Exposure to WordPress / Shopify /Amazon / Marketplace SEO / eCommerce SEO .
• Basic understanding of PPC / Social media / Email Marketing (collaboration-friendly).
• Experience with Core Web Vitals / Page Speed improvements with dev coordination.

Qualification

• Graduate / Masters degree (Marketing or related field preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of SEO experience
