Job Description
Responsibilities (Expanded)
- Editorial SEO Tasks: Help define topic clusters, own keyword research, prioritise blog briefs, and build content calendars that align with traffic potential and search behaviour.
- Tech SEO Ownership: Identify and work with the Product and the Tech team to solve technical gaps - from CWV fixes to sitemap and crawl budget issues. Youll work directly with the dev team to ensure nothing blocks performance.
- AI Overview & Featured Snippets Optimization: Deep-dive into query clusters that get picked up by Googles AI layers. Test formats, paragraph styles, and structure to improve citation chances.
- On-Page Content Structuring: From internal linking logic to heading optimization and live uploads - ensure every published blog or landing page is SEO-optimized before it goes live.
- Backlink & Mention Planning: Align with the ORB team and backlink vendors to ensure quality citations and contextual mentions are landing every month - and theyre actually driving relevance.
Requirements
- 1-5 years of hands-on SEO experience - you shouldve ranked sites before, not just managed agencies
- You understand AI Overview mechanics, have tested formats that work, and know what structured clarity means
- You have a bias for execution, can handle velocity, and are okay with being the one held accountable
