Role Summary

Position Name: Sr. Executive to Assistant Manager

Department: Finance & Accounts

Experience Required: 2-4 Years

Location: Kolkata

Highest Qualification: B.Com or CA Inter

NowPurchase is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional who will play a critical role in managing day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial reporting across the organization. This role requires strong technical expertise, a solid understanding of compliance frameworks, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Accounting: Manage daily accounting entries including sales, purchases, COGS, Credit Notes, and Debit Notes.
  • Compliance: Handle GST, TDS, and TCS quarterly work and ensure overall tax compliance.
  • Reconciliations: Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations for multi-entity operations.
  • Reporting & MIS: Manage monthly closures, stock statements, and prepare MIS and management reports for various stakeholders.
  • Financial Operations: Oversee petty cash, employee reimbursements, and bill approvals.
  • Coordination: Facilitate cross-team coordination to ensure smooth financial workflows.

Desired Skills & Attributes

  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Zoho Books, MS Excel, and Google Sheets.
  • Core Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and team management skills.
  • Experience: Prior experience in B2B environments and the Trading or Service Industry is preferred.
  • Learning Agility: A high capacity to grasp new concepts quickly and a "hunger" for continuous learning.
  • Mindset: Focused on meeting deadlines and driving process improvements.
