Position: SDET or Software Development Engineer in Test
Pan India (Cognizant office locations)
The key skills you could look at for are highlighted below, but minimum is the development / programming skill (and Test Automation).
- Proven experience in Software Development Engineer in Test SDET or in a similar role (minimum 3-5 years).
- Strong knowledge in programming languages such as Core Java (, .NET, Python, etc.)
- Strong knowledge in front-end programming/ scripting languages JavaScript, HTML5/CSS3, React.js
- 2+ years of Test automation (UI / API / Database)
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and modern testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, Appium)
- Experience in version control tool such as Git/ SVN,.
- Experience in CI/CD integrations, pipeline automation and building reporting infrastructure.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
