Job Description

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to design, test and maintain software programs for operating systems or applications which needs to be deployed at a client end and ensure its meet 100% quality assurance parameters

Must Have Skills

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
• Implement Cucumber BDD/JUnit frameworks for test execution and reporting.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of requirements.
• Identify, Analyse, and document defects using bug tracking tools (any test management tool).
• Perform Manual Testing for critical features .

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong hands on experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java.
• Proficiency in test automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber (BDD/TDD).
• Understanding of Java (Collections, OOPs, Exception Handling, Handling Json files etc.).
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like testing management tool
• Good in analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication and Teamwork abilities

Nice to Have Skills

• Perform testing on Backend applications (Good knowledge on Linux commands).
• Work with any version control systems
• Knowledge in Backend Testing, APIs (Postman, Rest Assured)
• Knowledge of SQL databases for backend validation.
• Handson experience with browser developer tools and debugging techniques
