SDE III (Backend)

We're looking for a skilled Senior Backend Engineer who's passionate about clean code, scalable systems, and solving real-world problems with elegant tech. You'll build APIs, own core services, and shape the backend architecture powering our AI-driven contract platform.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop APIs based on user requirements.
• Abstract complexity into libraries that allow them to be reused.
• Identify and fix issues in your modules and libraries.
• Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Own modules or services in the SpotDraft stack and see them from development to deployment to post-release maintenance.
• Work closely with tech leads and the CTO for the timely delivery of product features and engineering tasks.
• Participate actively in design discussions and define the long-term architecture of the system.

Requirements:

• 6-8 years of backend development experience.
• Strong Python skills (Django/Flask = bonus points).
• Experience in RESTful API wizardry.
• Solid CS fundamentals (DSA, system design).
• Linux command-line pro.
