SDE III – Backend (Go)

As an SDE III (Backend - Go), you will own high-scale backend systems, drive execution, and mentor engineers. This role bridges senior IC work and an Engineering Manager growth path.

Responsibilities:

• Own and operate mission-critical backend servicesfor real-time assignment, orchestration, and routing.
• Design and build high-concurrency, low-latency Go serviceswith end-to-end ownership.
• Develop and manage event-driven systemsusing Redis Streams for order lifecycle, state changes, and async workflows.
• Build and maintain real-time communication systems(WebSockets) and optimize concurrency and tail latency.
• Design efficient data access using Redis and PostgreSQL, including geo and performance optimizations.
• Own production reliability, monitoring, incident response, and CI/CD rollouts on AWS.
• Lead execution by breaking down complex problems, guiding delivery, and acting as a technical escalation point.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate closely with Product, AI, and Ops teams.

Requirements:

• 6-9 years of backend engineering experience.
• Strong Go (Golang)production experience.
• Ownership of high-scale backend systems.
• Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures(Redis Streams or similar).
• Technology Stack: Go, Python (limited), REST, gRPC, WebSockets, Redis (Streams, Pub/Sub), PostgreSQL, AWS (ECS/Fargate, EC2 RDS, ElastiCache), Docker, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, CI/CD.
