We seek engineers who can help us shape and develop our ad
- supported video streaming service
- Amazon MXPlayer, available on mobile, TV, and web.

We have scaled up significantly over the past few years.
We started off as miniTV and we acquired MXPlayer last year to become Amazon MXPlayer.

Key job responsibilities
- Collaborate with experienced cross
- disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring to market innovative products and services.
- Design and build features for Android TV
- Design and build new Machine Learning powered personalised experiences for miniTV customers.
About the team
This is a unique opportunity to work with some of the best engineers at Amazon (and probably in the world) and one of the best teams at Amazon (rated very highly in a company
- wide yearly assessment), be part of a new initiative from scratch which is going to become a huge area of growth for Amazon's Advertising business and pioneer the usage of new technology at Amazon scale.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of non
- internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non
- internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
